ReVolt HouseThe warmth of the sun and coolness of the water. The ideal combination for a great day at the beach, but also the perfect combination for a house. ReVolt House, a student project from the TU Delft, is a floating and rotating house, developed fully on solar power. A team of about thirty students is currently involved with the ReVolt House project. The team is made up of a group of international students from different faculties, such as, architecture, sustainable energy technology, civil engineering and technology, policy and management. The floating, rotating house, fully powered by solar energy, is the team's exhibit for the Solar Decathlon Europe exhibition. ESAComp is used for all the structural calculations of the composites design's floating base and walls. ESAComp training course at ESA/ESTEC, the Netherlands, November 22-23, 2011

ESA/ESTECThe objective of the course is to provide a general overview and background of composite structural analysis and design using the ESAComp software. The course will cover basic and advanced features of ESAComp and is hence suitable for both beginners and advanced users. The two-day course is arranged by ESA and it takes place at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. The training is given by Componeering staff. CompMechLab becomes ESAComp distributor for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan

CompMechLabComponeering and Computational Mechanics Laboratory Ltd. (CompMechLab® Ltd.) signed an agreement on September 9, 2011, about the distribution of ESAComp software in Russia and its neighboring states. CompMechLab is a Russian high-tech scientific-innovation company based at the Mechanics and Control Processes Department of St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University (SPbSPU). It provides computational engineering services across the automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, nuclear, machinery and metallurgic industries. Read Press Release for more information.
